I contacted The BBB about Capital One today 8/20/2013. I was told that I would receive a refund from my credit card to my bank account on 8/10/2013. Then on 8/12/2013 I called to verify the refund would in fact happen, and the Agent I spoke to on 8/12/2013 told me that the she did not see the refund on the account, and did not believe that I was receiving any refund. Logically, seeing that the money was on my Capital One card and based on what the Agent told me; I assumed I would not get a refund back to my bank account. Since that Agent had told me that there was no refund I spent a portion of the money credited to my Capital One card. A week later I received the refund without notice after being told that there was no refund, and now my Capital One account is over my credit limit. This will negatively affect my credit! When I called about this and spoke to the Account Manger Samantha. Her response was that there was nothing she could do, and that the situation was my fault because I failed to speak to a Manager when I called on 8/12/2013. I am outraged by this, and I should not have to speak to a manager every time I call Capital One!
Dear Mr. Crawford: I have been a Capital One customer since it was the Bowery Savings Bank many, many years ago. I have been on the phone all day long with Capital One to try and access my rewards and till now, I have not received any result. I have never met a bunch of incompetent people under one roof than at Capital One. Makes me nervous that I have my life savings in that bank. This company is run by a gang of immoral, unethical soulless douchebags. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE DOUCHEBAGS, THEY WILL TRY TO STEAL YOUR SOUL. They knowingly and intentionally provide false information regarding their sevices and policies, repeatedly violate federal law with impunity, and have lost several lawsuits against them and still have made no changes to their predatory practices. MAY THEY ALL BURN IN HELL.
I sent my payment in on the first of the month and Capitol One applied it to the previous month, therefore I was charged a late fee and told I was behind in my payments. Calls to Customer Service proved futile. Why would a financial institution apply a payment received in one month to the previous month? This makes no sense to a person with a 830 credit score.....Me. I paid on time and got penalized.

Capital One Bank Customer service is not friendly and no concern for customer...I was told there is no complaint department and when you filed a complaint on your account.. no one return your call or even take the matter serious. Capital One 360 cafe staff in Massachusetts is amazing..
There customer service is beyond bad !!!! They will send you in circles and you never get an answer to your questions. There personal manager Karen told me that I needed to give her my contact information and she will call me back next week when she gets time and hung up!!!!
Customer Service is worse than awful. All customer service personnel are out of the US and speak unrecognizable english. I spoke with six people over 60 minutes and gave up. Finally called one of their banks and got someone in the US.
so weak, capital one credit card does not allow auto pay for customers, rude customer services??? ridiculous company, investors, stockholders, customers should avoid this Capital One by all means.....
Terrible customer service. Needed intervention of State Banking Dept. to get issues resolved.
