Chronic misinformation, delay, and incompetence. I applied through the individual marketplace for a basic plan. The system failed to process the application. A supervisor confirmed that everything was in order but that there was a "defect" in the system, which would be cleared up in a few days. A few days later a different rep said it would take 7-10 days. Then, another one said 30 days. Then, 30 "business days". Finally, yet another said they had "no way of knowing" -- perhaps the only truthful response I have received thus far. I am still in limbo, uninsured, and helpless to move forward. This is not how a government ensure its citizens have health care - Medicare for all is the only answer.
Worst service ever. I have been on the phone twice a week for over 2 months now trying to renew and pick a new plan. I get conflicting answers and my application reset twice making me have to start the process all over again. Me and my 12 year old are now without insurance until they finally decide to update our information and approve income information. Phone reps are nice, but have no real power other than looking up our account. This service is a complete joke. Use at your own risk.
The customer service Rep (Brittany) was not polite and does not even listen to what I have to say. She keeps saying a lot of wrong stuff. Proper customer service is listen to your clients and at least when finish the clients should be satisfied. when I asked to be transfer to another agent she said hang up and call back. After I insist then she said to hold and the call got disconnected. Terrible service.
F***ING HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE! Not one single person has a CLUE of what to do there. The Insurance has a simple request "Change Request reason - ADDITION" Thats all it needs to say and they can back date the insurance to January. BTW this happened because of a "Technical Glitch" with NYSH. Its been 2 months, 24 calls, 8 supervisors, 12 escalations STILL not fixed as of 3/17/17

This is the worst customer service ever. Even though the representatives try to help, the customer is always wrong. Even when you are right, you have to apply, review, appeal and they may still tell you that you are wrong. They do NOT subscribe to the motto - the customer is always right! In their eyes the customer is always wrong!!!!
i had a good experience at first but then i got married and things got complicated. Some reps are condescending and even filled out my wifes information incorrectly regarding her unemployment status. One rep even insinuated i was doing something shady with my application. Horrible
Some of the most inept employees I have ever dealt with. Despite multiple calls describing a situation and submitting documentation they still screwed up my insurance reinstatement multiple times. It is beyond comprehension how they can be so bad at their jobs.
working with the market place is always a challange as you tend to not always have a knowledgeable person to speak with. I often ask to speak with supervisors and that does fix the the problem most of the time but every so often you need their supervisor too.
Horrible and Horrible. Better off just paying out of pocket for medical costs than deal with this FOR PROFIT company that lacks any intelligent Reps or Supervisors. THE most ass backwards, God awful experience you will ever have. You`ve been warned!
There is no way to email for information so I tried to call. Hours are 8am-8pm M-F. I called at 5:15pm and after entering all my info, I then got a message that the office is closed.
This is probably the worst Customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I have been hung up on over 4 times, and have had every representative seem clueless about helping me.
