About a month ago, I received a voice mail from one of the ladies in your office explaining that she needed to speak to me about the my homeowners policy and coverages. Given that this had been “finalized” in March of 2016 and I paid the premium for the year, I was very concerned as to why only 3-4 months later my homeowners policy needed discussion. So I returned the call from my car, relatively quickly, maybe within 20 minutes. The call was answered by the automated line phone tree system, which has been a huge grievence of mine with your office since day one. People often call from their cars these days and an insurance company is acting ineffectively by asking the drivers they seek to insure to divert their attention from the road. Even if I weren’t on the road though, a real live person should answer calls during business hours. It’s personable, builds relationships, and is in general a better business practice. Next, I was on the line with a different lady in the office who informed that the person who had called me was now in a meeting. Knowing I was bound to be unavailable for a larger part of the day and that I wanted to handle this while I had the time, I responded with okay, is there someone else I can speak with who would know what this is about? The young lady said oh yes, she could just review the notes. So she did. And her answer was…we need to have an adjuster (or whatever the term was) come out to the home to take pictures for our policy. I responded with something to the effect of, that’s ridiculous-supposedly that was done in March, why does it need to be done again, the policy is in place and I’ve paid the premium….what’s this for? Her response was that was what the notes said. I was annoyed and requested that someone call me when they figure this out. I also explained that I wasn’t happy with that level of service. I’ve recieved no follow up call since that moment. In the meantime, I have contacted Farmers Insurance, Allstate, and a three different State Farm agents in the area right around Noon. All offices, except one, answered the call with a real person, all of whom were capable of personally handling the quotes. The one office that I didn’t reach a person, sent me to voicemail, but returned my call within 5 minutes. To summarize, the phone systems and level of service every other office seems to be offering is lacking in yours. On the other hand, it is worth noting that when one deals directly with Frank Farmer, things seem work a bit better.
I had service from this company a few years back. heard a lot of rumors about how awful State Farm is but this one sucked. The receptionists were nice, but I found the other representatives had very little patience for me. They didnt care at all about how high my rates went, and when I complained Joeana was very rude. Zero compassion. And the rates are unbelievable! I eventually had to cancel my service because it seemed like every month they would have issues with my billing and the rates would be higher. They also charge fees for paying your premium! Yes every month I was having to pay like $3 just to pay my bill. I have since gotten great service at a fair price elsewhere. And paying my bill is free too!
So far the rates seem really good. Although the billing side of things is a complete train wreck. My bill is never consistent lately after adding on a motorcycle. Somehow my rate shot up over $100 more than normal from them adding a discount.... Also there never seems to be consistency with the auto bill pay. This agency is good but I think state farm in general on the back end does not have their stuff together very well. I may be going back to USAA if they cant sort out my issue soon.
I have been with Trey Rhodes State Farm since 1992 and I have always received exemplary service. Currently, I have my 3 automobiles and my homeowners insurance policies with them. His team members are welcoming and engaging. They take care of each situation as if it were their own. I consider them an extension of my family. Thank you for being there. I must make special mention of Crystal who always has a smile in her voice and epitomizes great customer service.
Words cannot describe how FANTASTIC the Trey Rhodes office has treated me! I wish I could give 10,000 Stars for my experience! The office staff is EXTREMELY professional, courteous, and efficient. Special kudos go to Joanna, Zach, Will, and Rebecca for treating me like I was the only customer. I am proud to be associated with State Farm and this office. And the icing on the cake is that I saved a lot of money on my insurance policies!!
After having been with State Farm since I was in high school, all of a sudden my rates took an sharp increase without warning or explanation. I have a completely clean driving record. Joanna was especially rude, dismissive and unhelpful when I asked why the sudden change. That was the last straw - I ditched these people and got insurance elsewhere that has much better rates and customer service.
Apparently Mr. Rhodes doesnt talk to his clients or wanting to be clients. Thats what i was told when i called wanting him to contact me at his convenience. If i am going with someone new to be my agent i want to talk to them and not someone else right from the start. Will stick with statefarm but will find an agent that has time to speak with me.
No tickets, accidents or claims in over 10 years, but rates increased over 40% in the last 5 years. No reasons from the agent, just excuses that it came from the main office. Two cars, travel trailer, and home. I guess they thought I would never catch on.There is no such thing as agent service or loyalty to the customer.
I was lucky to have a co-worker who introduced me to this wonderful State Farm agency! Thanks to Frank Farmer, I now have affordable and reliable renters insurance through State Farm. He made the process easy for me when I needed insurance on short notice! I would highly recommend this agency to anyone who asks.
Me and my husband are with state farm. When ever we have a question, Amber is always helpful and very good to us! She helps us in anyway she can, and makes sure we have everything we need! Any questions we have about our billing or our coverage, she is right there and makes sure we understand.
Very pleased with the knowledge and service of the staff. I get a real person each time I call the office. Questions are answered in a timely manner and all issues addressed and resolved. They will make it right!
Frank Farmer always responds promptly and provides in-depth explanations whenever I have a question. I have confidence in his ability to resolve any issues.
They handle the auto insurance update/replace/addnew operations very well. The account representative is very proficient and respond quickly.
